Teresa
Assistant Director
Joell is the director. She has over 20 years of experience working in early childhood education. Joell became the director in 2021. Joell is always available for her students throughout the day when they just need a little extra attention.
Teresa Torres is our assistant director. She has 15 years of experience working in early childhood education. Teresa is very patient and it shows when she is needed to help in any classroom during transition times. Teresa works side by side our teachers encouraging and assisting in all areas from behavior management, to lesson plans, and everything in between.
Infant Teachers
Teacher Teresa
Teacher Teresa is our infant room teacher. Teresa has been with us the longest, she started her career here in 2000. Teresa has a true gift working with our infants. She is so loving and kind with each of them. She has taken many trainings to be the best teacher she can be.
Toddler Teachers
Teacher Maribel
Maribel joined our team in 2018 as an assistant in the infant room. She is now our lead teacher in our Waddler room. Maribel keeps her classroom colorful and inviting for her little ones. She has an incredible bond with her students that make it hard for her to leave at the end of the day. As the infants turn one and transition into Maribel’s classroom they are greeted with new adventures to explore each day.
Teacher Heidi
Heidi has been working in childcare in 2018 and joined our team in 2021. Heidi has 5 amazing children ages 25-11. Her mother’s touch is a huge asset with our toddlers. Heidi enjoys camping and being in outdoors with her family.

Teacher Tina
Teacher Daisy is our Preschool 2 teacher. She came to Learning Land in 2019. Daisy loves to be creative and share her love of learning with her students. She was first hired as an assistant in the Proddler room, however we grew, and she took on the lead role in our Preschool 2 classroom.
Mildred works in our Preschool 1 classroom. Mildred has been working in early childhood education for over 14 years. Mildred has her stackable certificates in ECE. Mildred loves to teach songs to her students from her home language of Spanish. She definitely has that mother’s touch with her students
Teacher Tina is our lead teacher in our Prekinder classroom. Tina started working here in 2016. Tina has a great sense of humor, and loves to joke with her students. Tina works hard at preparing her students for kindergarten.
Teacher Tani
Tani started working in childcare in 2016. She earned her initial certificate through YVCC in 2020. She is continuing her education through YVCC. Tani is also a mother of 3 beautiful children. In her free time, she enjoys reading and shares her love of books with her students.
Teacher Sandra
Sandra works in our AM Preschool and PM Prekinder Classes. Sandra has her degree in Elementary education. She is so versatile she can step into any room and be a great asset. Sandra also works in the infant room on Mondays and Fridays. Sandra was hired in 2019 as an assistant in the infant room.
